Hello!

Just a quick post to say I have uploaded a couple of videos from when I went to Las Vegas & New York last year to YouTube. I did a bit of vlogging while I was there, so I thought I would put it on YouTube :) I have just uploaded the first couple of days for now but will add the rest when I get chance.

America - Las Vegas Day 3

Hello!

So day 2 in Vegas…We went to breakfast at Denny's (standard) and then got on the bus to Circus Circus and Fremont Street (Downtown Las Vegas)

Circus Circus is crazy, it has a mini theme park inside the hotel! We then went to Fremont Street, which I like to call the 'Old School' bit of Vegas. I think it was the original 'strip' in Vegas and it just makes me think of all the old films and pictures from years and years ago as it's still quite old fashioned compared to the rest of Vegas. 

At night we went to the Stratosphere. The Stratosphere is a hotel that is 1,149 ft, which (according to Wikipedia) is the tallest freestanding observation tower in the United States. It is amazing to see a view of the whole strip, and then if you are feeling brave, go on one of the rides on the top of the hotel! There is the Big Shot, which is what we went on, which shoots you up. It's defiantly one to go on as the views are amazing when it shoots you to the top! Theres Insanity, which I went on last time we went and that hangs off the top and swings you around (which wasnt actually as scary as it looks!), and then they have X-Scream which shoots you off the side and back..Thats the one I have not been on!

America Part 1 - Las Vegas Day 1 & 2

Hello!

So back in May, me and my boyfriend took a trip to America. I have been to Las Vegas before (see blog post here) and I really wanted to go back with him as it's one of my favourite places, and he has always wanted to go, and we also fancied going to New York. We have been planning the trip for a couple of years and last year we thought right, lets just book it! We booked it ourselves through Expedia and Travel Republic, which I was really happy with because we got such a good deal!  

Because I felt like it was sort of a once in a lifetime trip to go to both places, I took a ridiculous amount of photos! So i'm going to do maybe a couple of days at a time.

We arrived in Vegas after a 10 hour flight at around 2pm. As we didn't want to get jet lag we tried to explore for a bit and get something to eat. We lasted until around 10pm after having no sleep for around 24 hours haha. We stayed at the Mirage which we loved, and the location was really good too. Each hotel is like a resort on it's own theres so much to do in them, restaurants, bars, theatres  shops, our hotel even had a zoo! and obviously casinos. I would recommend paying extra for a strip view as it's an amazing view day and night.

The next day we woke up really early and went to explore! We went to the Las Vegas Sign, the M&Ms Factory, breakfast at Denny's (mmm pancakes!), Caesars Palace, Bellagio, MGM Grand & New York New York. I would recommend the Deuce bus, as taxis are so expensive and there is a lot of walking to do, it costs around $8 a day and its defiantly worth it if you want to do a lot of exploring.

We went to eat at the Hard Rock Cafe, the views of the strip were amazing from there!

Vegas Baby...♥

I just thought I would do a little post about my favourite place, Las Vegas!
I first went in 2008 and then went again in 2011, I love it so much I thought I would post a few pictures from my most recent trip :)

We stayed in the Monte Carlo the first time and Bally's the second time and they were both great hotels, as long as your on the strip it doesn't really matter where you stay in my opinion. 

There's so much stuff to do most people think its just gambling but i only went on the slot machines once! 

Things that i would say you have to do are...

♥ See the grand canyon

♥ Go on at least one of the rides on the top of the Stratosphere

♥ Watch the Bellagio fountains

♥ Go and see at least one show 

♥ Visit the Dolphins and white tigers at the Mirage

 Oh and of course shop till you drop!!

Its such an amazing place, if you ever have the chance to go defiantly go! :)
