My Favourite Summer Nail Polishes

Left - Right: Barry M - Lemon, Models Own - Beach Party, Barry M Gelly - Papaya, Rimmel - Hot & Spicy & Barry M Peach Melba

Barry M - Lemon
This is a lovely yellow colour, I love it because its not too bright. Barry M nail varnishes are the best in my opinion there easy to apply, cheap, and last long!

Models Own - Beach Party
I love this colour in summer, especially with a tan! I don't really wear it in the winter though as it is really bright.

Barry M - Papaya
This is not too different from Peach Melba, just a bit darker coral and more shiny as its one of the 'Gelly' Polishes.

Rimmel - Hot & Spicy
This is the newest nail polish in my collection, I love it! I've worn it so much since ive bought it. I think its such a gorgeous colour for summer, its kind of like a coral-red-ish.

Barry M - Peach Melba
This has been one of my favourtes for a while, Its such a pretty peach colour, and it's really nice if you want to brighten up your nails but colours like Beach Party are too bright for you.

What is your favourite summer nail polish?

Sally Hansen Insta-Dri

This is my new favourite thing! I have about a million nail polishes and love changing the colour of my nails all the time but I always hated waiting for them to dry. I'd always end up smudging them even after it seemed like I'd waited for ages for them to dry!
This stuff is amazing if you are in a rush painting your nails. It says it dries your nails in 30 seconds and it really does. I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it is, I thought it would still take a while to dry but it does exactly what it says on the tin. Not only does it dry your nails super fast but it makes them sooo shiny! I've never used a topcoat that makes my nails look so shiny I'm really impressed with it. I bought mine from boots for £5.99 which i think is an okay price as it's a really good product.

Have you tried Sally Hansen Insta-Dri?

NOTD Barry M Lychee and Models Own Blizzard

Barry M - Lychee
Models Own - Blizzard

I love Barry M Lychee at the moment, I think its so easy to wear and I think its a great colour to wear under glitter nail varnish.
I wanted Models Own Blizzard for ages around Christmas time but every time I went to my local boots it was sold out! I managed to pick it up a couple of weeks ago and I think it looks so nice with Lychee.

Have you tried any of these nail polishes?

NOTD - Essie Fiji Nail Polish

So this was my first EVER essie nail polish. I had seen loads of pictures on Instagram and other blogs, and I thought it looked such a gorgeous colour. Yes, they are quite a bit more expensive than Barry M etc, but to be honest the quality is better. As I'm typing all day in my job my nails usually chip the day after i paint them, even if I wear a top coat! This lasted on my nails 3 days and then it only slightly chipped, which is good for my nails! Especially when they are not in the best condition at the moment with having acrylics on them previously.
I Love the colour I think its so pretty especially for summer and I only had to use 2 coats.

Whats your favourite Essie nail polish?

January Favourites

Eyeliner & Lipstick swatches

St Moriz Spray
So I have been using the St Moriz mousse for a long time, and, its okay, i guess it does the job and its cheap but i have always preferred my St Tropez as it fades better and looks more natural and is easier to apply...I bought this spray just before christmas as I didn't want to buy a new bottle of St Tropez because I knew i was getting one for Christmas but i wanted to be tanned before Christmas! I LOVE it!! its soooo easy to apply and you don't get any streaks at all (I always apply with a mitt) Its so much easier and quicker than the mousse and it fades a lot better, I find the mousse goes a bit patchy after a few days. I will defiantly be repurchasing this!

Soap & Glory Smoulder Kohl Eyeliner
This was another thing I kinda bought by accident, I always love trying new eyeliners as I love them to be really dark but a lot of them make my eyes water bad as I've had problems with my eyes the last few years. I have been using Mac - Feline but I wanted a cheaper option so I tried this and its great! Its really really dark and it doesn't budge! To be honest I can't really notice a difference between this and the mac one!

La Femme Glitter Nail Varnish
I loveee this nail varnish its so cute! I love glitter nail varnish anyway but stars!! It's gorgous to put over any colour, I wore it over red at christmas

I got this from Ebay, Im not too sure where else you can purchase it.

Revlon Colourburst Lip Butter in Raspberry Pie
I wanted a lipstick this colour for a while and I saw Tanya Burr wearing it in one of her videos, I was like, I need that lipstick! The colour is gorgeous and I'm definatly going to be buying some more of these Lip butters in different colours there so soft and really pigmented.

Christmas Nail Polishes

Hello

Just thought I would do a little post showing you my favourite christmassy nail varnishes :)

Left to right...Barry M Red Black & Barry M Yellow Topaz, Barry M Silvery Lilac & Topshop Razzmatazz, O.N.E (I got this one in Cyprus, I'm not too sure if they sell it in other countries but I've never seen it in england! :( ) Angelica from Primark Fallen Angel, Elf Red Velvet, Topshop Eclipse & Collection Glittersweet, A plain silver from a nail art set & 17 Glitter Top Coat, Barry M Raspberry & Beauty UK Dorothy, Barry M Silver Glitter, Barry M Bright Red & Beauty UK Dorothy, Barry M Foil & Barry M Yellow Topaz & The last two are Collection Glittersweet and Beauty UK Dorothy on their own.

Its really hard to pick which one for christmas day! But I'm leaning towards the Barry M Red Black & Barry M Yellow Topaz, I think they look so nice together.

Which nail varnish will you be wearing on christmas day?

I've Been Buying...

Hello! Well i got paid on Tuesday so i thought I'd take a little shopping trip after work, why not eh? I didn't get much because I'm going Christmas shopping on Monday so I just bought a few bits :)

More glitter nail varnishes! But I thought, I've got to have red and green glitter for Christmas! So i bought no.10 Dorothy by Beauty UK and Glittersweet by Collection.

Nail Constellation - I've seen loads of pictures on MUA's instagram with this and I've been meaning to buy it for ages because it looks really good and it was only £3, can't wait to try it out..

I loveee this scarf. I wanted a blue and green tartan one but I saw this one in H&M and I just thought it looked so cute and christmassy and its really thick too so It will keep you warm!

I love stripes, I'm not too sure why because everyone says horizontal stripes make you look bigger, but I really like tops and dresses with stripes. I just thought this would look nice with some leggings and chelsea boots for like a chilled out look :)

My Favourite Glitter Nail Polishes...

I LOVE glitter nail polishes. Especially at christmas time :) As soon as I see a new one or one I havn't seen before in Boots or Superdrug I'm like, ooooh i want! So here are a few of my favourites...

Opi - Nothin' Mousie 'Bout It
Barry M - Yellow Topez Glitter
OPI - Temptation
Topshop - Pink Punch
H&M - Blue Bliss
Models Own - Ibiza Mix
Pop - Confetti
Topshop - Razzmatazz

My Absolute favourite is the Barry M Yellow Topez, I think its perfect for christmas! I might try it over a red maybe for chritsmas day?

I think Nothin' Mousie 'Bout It is so cute but you have to sort of scoop the hearts out and place them on the nails as most of the time if you just paint the nail with it you just get loads of pink glitter and maybe one heart!

I put Rimmel Urban Purple underneath Pop Confetti, Barry M Black underneath Ibiza Mix and OPI Nothing Mousie about it and Barry M Navy underneath H&M Blue Bliss (which also looks great over a light blue!)

What is your favourite glitter nail polish?

Topshop Louise Gray Pinch Punch ♥

This was one of those things, when I saw it in Topshop, I HAD to buy it. I absolutely love glitter nail varnishes anyway but this one is gorgeous. Its pink glitter but then has the larger bits of glitter in pink and silver

I Just put 2 coats on to achieve this look but you could put another one on or layer it over other colours.

There is also a blue one so I'll be getting that one next! :)

NOTD ♥

Barry M Black & Models Own Ibiza Mix

I love Ibiza mix its gorgeous! I'm obsessed with glitter nail varnishes (even though they are a pain to get off haha!)

I think the black really makes it stand out, but I also think it looks great over white nail varnish.

Wow, I've not blogged for ages! well, my laptop broke, but last week...I got a MacBook! yayyy!!

Just a little review today. A lot of people have been raving about the Bourjois Magic Nail Polish Remover pot, which to be honest I haven't tried yet but I thought was such a great idea.
So I was having a wonder around Home Bargains again a few weeks ago and I found this...

It was only 85p so I wasn't expecting much but I thought, for 85p I might aswell try it.

(Sorry about the red-ness I used it to take off red nail varnish)
I was totally surprised by this, All i did was put my nail in, and swirl it round once and all my nail varnish was gone! Its so quick and easy and It actually doesn't smell bad either, it leaves a fruity smell on your nails.

So If you are looking for a cheaper alternative to the Bourjois one, this is great!

I tried to find this on their website and it wasn't on there for some reason, but they had loads in my local shop so i'm sure they will have them in most stores.
