How I Get Beach Waves - 2 ways

Hey!

So I thought I would do a post on how I get messy, beach waves. I have my hair like this a lot and I think it looks nice especially in the summer and on holiday. My hair is normally not straight but not curly..its kind of wavy but with straight bits if that make's sense?

I Always use Tresemme Texture Style and Superdrug's own Salt Spray. They are both pretty cheap and I love them especially the Salt Spray. If i'm on holiday most of the time I just use the Salt Spray as my hair always seems to go thicker and wavier for some reason? Normally I wash my hair, towel dry it off and spray some of the Tresemme Texture Style and just sort of scrunch my hair. Most of the time I then leave it to dry or dry it off with a hairdryer (upside down for more volume!) Then when my hair is dry I do the same with the Salt Spray, spray it in and scrunch my hair. It's great because some products like this I have used have made my hair greasy or sticky but these two don't.

This is the effect the products give to my hair, as you can see its messy-wavy.

I also have another way of getting messy waves. I wash my hair and then after towel drying it a little bit I put it into two plaits while its still quite wet. I sleep in the plaits and then when I wake up and its dry I spray a bit of the Superdrug Salt Spray in and it gives it this effect...

What products do you use to get 'Beach Waves'?

  1. Your hair looks gorg! My hair is naturally wavy but it's at the length where it just looks messy if I leave it. Need to wait for it to grow before I can start to style it I think :) x

  2. Great post. I love beachy waves. I like photoshoot style where the hair is styled to stay that way, not just when I leave mine messy on the beach! Haha!

    Great post!

  3. Great post! My hair's the same - I use Umberto Giannini which is quite good but feels verrrry crispy so I might give the Tresemme spray a go :)

  4. Thank you so much for sharing. My hair is dead straight so beach waves are something I long for so bad. I'll definitely be trying these two products!

  6. Such a helpful post Kayleigh! I use Bumble and Bumble at the moment but as it's quite expensive I've been really interested in what else is out there that's a little bit cheaper.

Gorgeous blog, would you like to follow each other? Let me know!!
